THE TV EFFECTS FOR CHILDREN


Good afternoon Ladies and Gantleman

In this era, there are many home in our country which have TV. We are believe that TV has become essential part of daily life. TV give inform us the news every day, instruct us in many fields of interest and entertaint us with singing, dancing and acting especially, for children on growthly.
But when we consider about violence on TV we relieze that TV has high influences for behavior and mainstream people especially, in this problem of children. TV violence has had a great effect on daily life for children. Why not, as we know that, many children watch TV for several hours everyday; and even though they are watching children’s programe they are still confronted with scenes of violence and terror for example; Naruto, Power Rangers, Satria Baja Hitam etc.
What is the solution to this problem? I try to give solution to spread this problem and I think that this problem very restless for parents;

Firstly, lead the children to choose programe which relevance for them, like Si Bolang, Surat Sahabatku, Laptop Si Unyil etc. are children’s programe which not scenes of violence.

Scondly, attention of warning or symbol on corner up screen right or left screen to certainty children’s programe or not, for example BO (parents lead), DW (adult), SU (all ages).

Thirdly, accompany children to guide about children’s programe which any scenes of violence on TV and give motivation to do acting for results watch TV in daily activities.

Finally, limit children’s time to watch TV. As parents, limited children’s time should be applicated on daily life to conditioning children at study times.
In conclution, that the effect of TV violence on children very dangerous and restless for parents, because they can duplicate scenes of violence on TV. So, be carefull for parents when their children watxh TV even though their children watch children’s programe especially, when they lost of our attention.
